![]() ![]() I'm kind of taken aback that you'd dismiss this issue and even state you have no future plans to fix it moving forward. This problem is most probably being caused because Rhino will run inside the Revit session and your tool (which we install for Rhino, Revit and Sketchup) is potentially trying to load twice within the same thread (one for Revit and one for Rhino). How can you just dismiss this as "we don't support it"? So if I get a similar answer from McNeel and they tell us they don't support Enscape, should we just terminate our contract and cancel all our licenses with Enscape since perhaps Rhino.Inside is more important to us and we have other real-time rendering options at our disposal? What do you mean "we do not officially support the use of Rhino Inside Revit"? Who are you to determine what other software we use? Do you realize that your solution is conflicting with the use of another software? Enscape is conflicting with Rhino.Inside when Enscape is installed and the user has no interest in even using it. We are running into this exact issue and from the messages above, I see zero effort from Enscape to even try and understand the problem. Looking forward for solution.Wow Demian, that is really the wrong answer. ![]() I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread. ![]() ![]() This will enable the Advanced button which you should then click to proceed to the next window which will offer you the Official Website option to install for all users of the machine. Perhaps it is to do with the block name being duplicate? Enscape is barely usuable in it's current state on my large scale project which is very frustrating. If i worksession multiple files with the same assets inside from different files it crashes my enscape. There seems to be a fundamental issue with assets and block management in Rhino. This wouldnt be too much of an issue but sometimes the blocks show in rhino but not enscape. The issue is compounded if you want to copy assets between files as it then becomes messy and you cannot purge it out as the layer you thought nothing exists upon actually contains all of the blocks. If I try to render the results are the same. Once I open Enscape the geometry gets shattered, the lines and forms seems inconsistent and the window is constantly flashing. In Rhino everything seems fine, the geometry is ok. The version of Enscape we install is 3. Hi, I'm using rhino 7 and there seems to be a problem with how the geometry is represented ones I start enscape. You then have to individually block edit each individual block instance to correct it to the layer you want. 1 Hi, We now have several users who have the same exact issue with loading the enscape plugin in rhino 7 and Revit (version 2018 till 2021). You think they exist on one layer but actually when you type blockedit they exist on an original layer you placed them on even if you move them to a new layer. Rhino enscape block don't seem to work correctly with layering or heavy files. This will enable the Advanced button which you should then click to proceed to the next window which will offer you the option to install for all users of the machine.Īfterward, if you're unsuccessful still, please briefly send in a feedback report with your log files as described here, simply adding a link to this thread in the submission form for reference purposes! It’s the only real-time rendering solution that plugs directly into your modeling software, giving you an integrated design and visualization workflow across all project phases. If you want even more, there are over 100 premium textures available in return for support on Patreon. Welcome to our forum! I'm sorry to hear about that - ln the fist instance, please uninstall any existing version of Enscape currently present on your machine, then reboot the machine, run the Enscape installer again and in the first window of the installation process, where you will see the checkbox named 'I accept the terms in the License Agreement' make sure that is checked. Enscape is a real-time visualization and virtual reality plugin for Rhino (also for SketchUp, Autodesk, Archicad, and Vectorworks). With over 1,000 free 3D textures, Share Textures tops our list in terms of the amount of free content available, and new options are added every week. I can't seem to find out what the problem is. It doesn't show up in my Rhino viewport and also not in the Enscape viewport. The realtime rendering with materials is almost flawless, however I am unable to place assets in my model. I am using Enscape (version 2.7.1+20192) as a plug in on Rhino 6 (the latest version). ![]()
